Clarkston Cultural Arts organizes a variety of efforts throughout the year. In between community outreach, projects, and organizing opportunities for our members, we are putting together some amazing community events that highlight arts and culture in Clarkston, Michigan. As updated information becomes available for each event, a link will be posted below for either the registration page and/or the Facebook event page.

All ages are welcome to come and paint with us during Concerts in the Park (hosted by the Clarkston Area Chamber of Commerce). Children must be supervised. Painting begins around 6:30 PM during most concerts. Please check the Clarkston Cultural Arts page on Facebook, or Clarkston Arts on Twitter for last minute changes. Volunteers to help set up and tear down are always needed. Please contact us at [email protected] if you’d like to volunteer.

If you’re an artist looking to set up your own easel, or sit with your sketchbook, please join us!

Open Studio Sessions allows artists to work in the charming Baycourt Cabin Studio. Meet other artists, experience the valuable give-and-take of collaboration, or just have a creative space to pursue your work.

This is a self-guided session. Please bring your own supplies. Easels and tables are available for use.

$5 fee

From 7:00 until 9:00 pm on Wednesday evenings, June 29, July 20 and August 24th, 2016, Janet Marie and m’Archibald of Children’s Theatre of Michigan will present Songs, Stories, and Other Family Fun around the campfire on the beach at Deer Lake.

Young Children and the grownups that love them are invited to join in acting out and singing along with traditional and original songs and stories in a comfortable lakeside setting. Included in each evening’s event will be making and enjoying s’mores as well as games and other activities for the whole family.
